We hold events where you can join together with other young people to have fun and help make the world a better place. We are a young people’s offshoot of The Funding Network.
Come along to an event, and you’ll likely find a cheap bar, live music, crafts, tasty treats and other surprises. Then comes the really amazing part: at each event we invite three inspirational charities to tell us about their work, and pitch a specific project that’s in need of some cash.
We hear exactly what they would do with any money raised and have the chance to ask them questions. After hearing from the different projects, there is a pledging session where we all choose which project to donate our £10 ticket price to, donate more money if we want, and even volunteer our time.
It is a bit hard to explain, but hearing about the incredible things these people are doing, and seeing our contribution join up with those of others to support them to make a real difference, is a pretty great way to spend an evening.

Who we are
Right now, YTFN events are organised by Tillie, Aphra, Matt, Annabel, Liz, Sophia, Helin, Selin and Kelvin. We always welcome more people who want to get involved, so come find us at an event if you want to help with behind-the-scenes organising, logistics, project selection, promotion or anything else!
